Salvagers Unite!

The SLVGRs exist to provide salvagers with their own way of life, in an organised and helpful manner.

What is this?

In short - it's a system that allows players who create wrecks to bookmark them and salvagers to use those bookmarks. If this sounds good to you, please read on:

How does this work?

Salvagers:
You should hope to find some wreck sites there for you to salvage. This is only in the opening stages right now, so they may be low in numbers.

Bookmarkers:
You have chosen to be a good person and to help others! When you are bookmarking, please follow a few basic guidelines to help everything run smoothly;

1) When making bookmarks, please set them to expire in 3 hours - this way we can avoid cluttering the folders with expired bookmarks.

2) When making the bookmark, please use the "save location" option on one of the wrecks - this way you will create a bookmark that bears the name of the wreck.

3) Please make sure that you place the BM in the right section! (Hi-sec, Low-sec, Null-sec, Wormhole (J-space) and other).

4) Please prefix your BM names with "Clu." or "Disp." to represent "Cluster" or "Dispersed". This will allow Salvagers to plan ahead - will they need to fit propulsion mods or not. "Clu." should be used for sites that are no greater than 20km across. If you (or whoever cleared the site) used an MTU, then of course use "Clu.".

5) Please DO NOT BM any wrecks that are still occupied my NPCs! (e.g. a half-cleared combat site). If you do, please make it very clear that the site is "NOT CLEARED".

6) Have fun!!! - This is a project to allow salvagers to have a little boost in their early career.
